New Delhi, May 6 -- Former Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar on Tuesday said that everyone knows who is behind the Pahalgam terrorist attack after the United Nations Security Council grilled Pakistan, raising some tough questions about the incident.

Speaking with ANI, MJ Akbar said, "The way the world looks at Pakistan, this is evident again and again. Everyone knows who is behind this incident (Phalgam terror attack), who is behind this brutality. If Pakistan did not know that the world knew about it, then they surely know now after the UNSC meeting."

MJ Akbar, lashing out at Pakistan, said that their rulers have decided to "stay in a haze of extreme intoxication and sleep" and their eyes can't be opened.
