Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 11 -- Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has appealed to the people in the state to understand the implications of supporting BJP here asserting that "every single vote given to the BJP" will destroy the purity of state.
He alleged that the BJP is attempting to change the cultural traditions associated with the state's iconic Onam festival.
Speaking at an event, Chief Minister Vijayan expressed concern over a photo shown to him, depicting Maha Vishnu, Vamanan, and Mahabali in a way that implies a shift in the traditional narrative of Onam, where Mahabali's visit is celebrated.
