Mumbai, Oct. 27 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said that India's maritime sector has witnessed major growth under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Fadnavis highlighted the government's Maritime Vision 2030 and Amrit Kaal Maritime Vision, which aim to attract large investments and boost the maritime industry.
Speaking to the reporters on India Maritime Week 2025, Devendra Fadnavis said, "It is absolutely possible because all of us know that the way in which this entire maritime business has expanded in our country after our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken over."
He added that Maharashtra is working to become a leading destination for shipbuilding.
