New Delhi, Aug. 4 -- Independent MP Pappu Yadav on Monday took a jibe at the BJP and the Election Commission of India (ECI) after the poll body sent a notice to RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav seeking his EPIC card details. Pappu Yadav referred to the Election Commission as 'sandigdh commission' (suspicious commission).

Speaking to the reporters, MP Pappu Yadav alleged that the ECI is working on the behest of the BJP.

"BJP and Modi ji create confusion. Is EC 'Aladdin ka Chirag'? What will they do by sending a notice? The Election Commission is a 'sandigdh commission' (suspicious commission) in itself. They have said that they are BJP spokespersons under all circumstances," he said.
