New Delhi, Feb. 16 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ajay Alok on Sunday said that efforts were being put to provide all the possible help to the victims of the New Delhi railway station stampede.

He expressed grief and said that the stampede was sad and unfortunate.

Speaking to ANI, Alok said "What happened in Delhi is very sad and unfortunate. Since last night, the Delhi party president Virendra Sachdeva has gone to the hospital and met the injured people. Efforts are being made to provide all the possible help to the victims... the death of the 18 people is extremely sad."

Further, he took a jibe at the opposition for their blame game and said it was not the time to do politics.
