New Delhi, July 25 -- Amid the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in poll-bound Bihar which saw opposition holding protests both inside and outside the Parliament, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra on Friday alleged that the Election Commission of India is "working as a branch" of the Bharatiya Janata Party and such a thing has "never' taken place in the history of India.

"Such a thing has never happened in the history of India. The Election Commission, which is a constitutional body, is working as a branch of the BJP. CEC speaks like a spokesperson of the BJP...
