Ujjain, June 21 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attended a workshop on 'Astronomy and Indian Knowledge Tradition' held at Dongla in Ujjain district on Saturday.

Addressing the workshop, CM Yadav said, "Dongla is an important center for time calculation and it holds a special place in the country's heritage. Efforts will be made to promote Dongla at the global level and special attention will be given to the continuous modernization of the observatory established here."

He further noted the state government is committed to promoting scientific management and research. Further research on ancient Indian knowledge traditions will be actively encouraged.
