New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Wednesday said that Indian armed forces gave a befitting reply to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, as she expressed faith in the abilities of the armed forces amid the controversial statement given by Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan.

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Chavan claimed that India was defeated on the first day of Operation Sindoor and Indian aircraft were shot down during the four-day conflict.

Chaturvedi rejected the assertion, stating that she places her trust in the Indian Army and that the country delivered a strong and appropriate response to Pakistan under Operation Sindoor.
