YSR District, Aug. 9 -- YSRCP State General Secretary Satish Kumar Reddy has alleged that leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are conspiring to assassinate him in Pulivendula, YSR District.

He alleged that the plan was in retaliation for his recent remarks criticising Lokesh during a press conference.

Addressing the mediapersons, Reddy said the conspiracy was not limited to intimidation or assault but carried a "direct intent to kill."

He expressed complete distrust in the state police and pointed to the absence of adequate personal security. He later stated that local authorities could not be relied upon to ensure his safety or conduct an impartial investigation.
