Mumbai, June 22 -- Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday stressed the importance of "dialogue" and "diplomacy" as the primary means to resolve any conflict, amid the growing involvement of the United States in the Israel-Iran conflict.

Goyal reiterated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi believed that war was not a solution for the settlement of any issue.

"Dialogue and diplomacy are the mediums that should be used for any issue to be resolved. PM Modi has been of the thinking that war is not a way for the settlement of any issue," Goyal said, addressing the media.
