Lucknow, April 29 -- Congress leader Ajay Rai on Tuesday credited the development work in Rae Bareli to the Gandhi family and the Congress party, as Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi paid a visit to the constituencies of Rae Bareli and Amethi today.

Rai said that Rahul Gandhi had an "old relationship" with the people of the constituencies and had always stood with their families.

"Rahul Gandhi keeps meeting the people of his area; he has an old relationship with the people there. He maintains relations with the public; he stands with their families and solves whatever problems they have...
