Kolkata, April 15 -- BJP MP Samik Bhattacharya on Tuesday alleged that the demography of all bordering areas in West Bengal has changed, blaming the Trinamool Congress for welcoming back those who once left India and called it "napaak."
Speaking to ANI, Bhattacharya claimed that Rohingyas and Bangladeshi immigrants are being allowed into the state, bringing "jihadi ideas" with them.
Highlighting concerns across border districts and recalling the 1946 Calcutta killings, he said the Mamata Banerjee government has taken the state back to those troubling times.
