New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- After expelled JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna was convicted in a rape case, Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge on Friday hit out at the BJP and JD(S), accusing them of staying silent on the issue.

Calling the act 'disgusting,' Kharge questioned the BJP's silence and asked what happened to their "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" slogan.

He stated that the BJP uses leaders like himself and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar to distract from such serious crimes.

Speaking to the reporters, Kharge said, "Let's talk about this again. Isn't the BJP their coalition partner? Isn't their relative a minister in the central government today? BJP leaders need Priyank and DK Shivakumar to cover up all this. Otherwise, their true colours will be revealed,...
