New Delhi, Jan. 19 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kalyan Banerjee on Monday welcomed the Supreme Court's decision directing the Election Commission of India (ECI) to display the names of the electors falling under the 'logical discrepancies' category in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive in West Bengal.
Speaking to reporters outside the apex court, Banerjee, who is also a Senior Advocate, said the court wants transparency in the SIR exercise and will "interfere" if the process remains opaque.
