Malda, April 12 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Ghosh on Friday alleged a conspiracy to drive out Hindu populations from several districts of West Bengal, including Malda, Murshidabad, Dinajpur, Nadia, Birbhum, and Howrah.

Ghosh claimed that people from Bangladesh are entering India and causing unrest, leading to repeated attacks on the Hindu community and asserted that there's a deliberate effort to make these districts "free of Hindu population".

Speaking to ANI, Ghosh said, "A conspiracy is underway to make Malda, Murshidabad, Dinajpur, Nadia, Birbhum, Howrah districts free of Hindu population... People from Bangladesh are coming here and causing chaos. The Hindu community is being attacked again and again.
