Chennai, May 13 -- Tamil Nadu BJP vice president Narayanan Thirupathy criticised the Congress party's stance on the recent cessation of hostilities between India and Pakistan, highlighting that senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor's remarks should be taken note of by other Congress leaders.

Speaking to ANI, Thirupathy said the decision to halt escalation with Pakistan was not about external mediation but a strategic choice to avoid prolonged conflict.
