Nainital, Dec. 12 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Congress, alleging that the party is troubled by the state government's ongoing crackdown on "land jihad".

Speaking at a public event, the Chief Minister accused the Congress of siding with those involved in illegal land encroachments and said the opposition had "disturbed the demography" of Uttarakhand by facilitating the settlement of "a particular community" in areas where they had no historical presence.
