Patna, Aug. 30 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Dinesh Sharma on Saturday demanded that Congress issue a public apology for allegedly abusing the late mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the 'Voter Adhikaar Yatra' in Bihar's Darbhanga.

"In Uttar Pradesh, too, a Congress leader used abusive words about the great people of the Sangh. They should publicly apologise," Sharma told ANI.

The BJP leader said that "insulting and abusing" deceased people has become a habit of Congress, which the people do not approve.
