New Delhi, July 13 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey on Sunday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and accused the Congress party of having close ties with big businessmen during their time in power.
Dubey referred to an incident from 1971 during the tenure of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi's grandmother, alleging that only one company, Tata, was awarded the responsibility of manufacturing chemicals.
In a post on X, Dubey wrote, "Rahul Gandhi ji, your Congress and its collusion with businessmen, having a blast. Wasn't it your grandmother Indira ji who was perhaps the Prime Minister, June 2, 1971, in Parliament, when the responsibility for making chemicals was given to only one company, Tata?"
