New Delhi, July 22 -- BJP MP Jagdambika Pal on Tuesday criticised the Opposition, particularly the Congress party, for disrupting the proceedings in the Lok Sabha and urged them to allow the House to function smoothly.

Speaking to ANI, the BJP MP reiterated that the government is open to discussions and accused the Congress of attempting to stall parliamentary proceedings instead of participating in debates.

"Yesterday, when the opposition and Congress came to the well, I told Rahul Gandhi to ask his members to maintain the decorum of the House; everyone will get a chance to speak.
