Balasore, May 5 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi has criticised Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi's comments on the caste census, stating that the Congress party has always divided the nation.

He further added that the intention behind the caste census for Rahul Gandhi was to divide India based on caste, and we (BJP) don't believe in it.

Speaking to ANI on Sunday, BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi said, "...The intention behind the caste census for Rahul Gandhi was to divide India based on caste. We don't believe in it...We want to unite the nation...Congress has always divided the nation..."
