Bengaluru, Feb. 13 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday addressed concerns regarding the recent Bengaluru Metro fare revision, stating that the implementation has resulted in anomalies, with some fares more than doubling in certain sections.

Taking to social media platform X, Siddaramaiah instructed the Managing Director of Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to urgently resolve these issues and reduce fares where increases are deemed abnormal. He emphasised that the interests of commuters must be protected.
