Chennai, March 29 -- Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) President Thol Thirumavalavan on Saturday said that Chief Minister MK Stalin has pledged to introduce new legislation to strengthen Dalit reservation and empowerment within the current legislative session.

Speaking after the State-Level High-Level Awareness and Monitoring Committee meeting, Thirumavalavan highlighted the CM's commitment to Dalit development, stating that he spent over 2.5 hours discussing the government's initiatives. The VCK leader also emphasized key concerns affecting Dalits and urged the government to take stronger policy measures to address them.
