Midnapore East, April 3 -- West Bengal assembly Leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Thursday blamed the West Bengal government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the cancellation of 25,000 teachers' jobs in the state.
Speaking to ANI, Adhikari said, "West Bengal government and CM Mamata Banerjee are responsible for the 25000 people who have lost their job after the SC ruling today. Her nephew (Abhishek Banerjee) has a major role to play in it."
Earlier today, the Supreme Court upheld the Calcutta High Court's decision to cancel the recruitment of over 25,000 teachers and non-teaching staff by the SSC in 2016 for state-run and state-aided schools.
