Bengaluru South, July 6 -- Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Sunday said that it was not wrong for the party workers, people and the seers to desire certain things. However, he stated that he and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah would adhere to the party line.
Speaking to reporters at his Kodihalli residence in Kanakapura taluk, he said, "AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge has asked us not to talk about it. It would be wrong to speak about it now. We all adhere to what the party says."
"Siddaramaiah has said it many times, but the Opposition and media keep raising that issue. There is no need to talk about it now. People have elected us, reposing faith in us, and we are fulfilling our promise," he said.
