New Delhi, July 24 -- Congress MP Ranjeet Ranjan slammed the Centre over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, accusing the government of snatching the voting rights of 60-70 lakh people in the state, where the assembly elections are scheduled to be held later this year.

Speaking to ANI, Ranjan said, "...Is it not the right of the voter to ask whether he is a voter or not. We are not receiving any receipt regarding this. The opposition demands this proof.
