East Medinipur, April 15 -- After the violence in Murshidabad over the Waqf Amendment Act, West Bengal Leader of Opposition and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Mamata Banerjee government, alleging a complete breakdown of law and order.
Speaking to ANI, Adhikari called for a sustained deployment of central forces like the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Border Security Force (BSF).
He also claimed that the West Bengal Police has turned into a "cadre" of the ruling TMC and vowed not to remain silent if the Hindu community is targeted.
