New Delhi, June 19 -- Congress leader Supriya Shrinate slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday after US President Donald Trump yet again claimed of brokering a deal between India and Pakistan in stopping the "war" between the two nations.

"The PM spoke on the phone (to US President Trump) and the government said that the PM gave a befitting reply (to President Trump). But a few hours later, Trump, for the 15th time, says that we stopped the war (India-Pakistan tension) and hyphenates Narendra Modi to Asim Munir. We cannot see our country being disrespected like this. Everything Modi Ji said in that telephone conversation, he should come and say in the all-party meeting or Parliament..." Shrinate told ANI.
