Thrissur, April 19 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Binoy Viswam on Saturday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey's recent comments on the Supreme Court were a "blatant attack" on the judiciary.
"The words of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey is a blatant attack on the judiciary. It is a violation of the norms of the Constitution... BJP and RSS are the sole reason for all sorts of communal tensions in the country," Binoy Viswam told ANI.
Earlier in the day, BJP leader Nishikant Dubey made serious allegations against the Supreme Court, saying it was responsible for "inciting religious wars" in the country. He also questioned the need for Parliament if the top court continues to make laws.
