Chennai, March 5 -- Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Tuesday further raised the pitch on the delimitation issue at an all-party meeting held in Chennai. Stalin claimed that the state would lose Lok Sabha representation in such an exercise.
Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai endorsed the CM and expressed strong disapproval of the BJP-led government's approach, alleging it was aimed at undermining the political power of southern states.
"MK Stalin has picked up on the devious intent of the BJP government to silently move and catch everybody by surprise with delimitation," Annadurai said, pointing to the potential impact of the process on the existing political leverage of southern states.
