New Delhi, July 29 -- Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MPs on Tuesday held a protest near the Gandhi statue in the Parliament over the law and order situation in Odisha, targeting the BJP-led government in the state over the cases of crime against women.
The protest came in the wake of the alleged gang-rape in Jagatsinghpur and the attempted murder of a 15-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted and set on fire by unidentified assailants in Puri district.
Slamming the BJP government, BJD MP Sasmit Patra said that there is no hope of justice in Odisha.
