Saharanpur, Feb. 14 -- Congress MP Imran Masood on Friday criticised the imposition of President's rule in Manipur and said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could not tolerate any government and hence took the decision.

Speaking to ANI, Masood said, "After the death of so many people and such distressing conditions, the President's rule has been imposed. The BJP cannot tolerate any other government, that is why they have imposed the President's rule. The conditions are so bad that nobody is ready to go with them...."

Stating solutions that could be taken in the state, Masood said that the need of the hour was to have a peace talk and bridge the distance between the two communities of Manipur.
