New Delhi, April 30 -- Congress MP Randeep Surjewala on Wednesday accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government at the Centre and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab of pushing Haryana into a severe water crisis.

The remarks came after Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann refused to release more water to Haryana, stating that the state has already used its allocated share for this season.

Speaking at a press conference here, Surjewala lashed out at both governments, saying, "The Modi-led government in the Centre and the Punjab government have pushed Haryana into a water crisis!
