Kolkata, July 2 -- BJP leader Nisith Pramanik on Wednesday, slammed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the Kolkata gang-rape case, claiming that the law and order have completely collapsed.

Speaking to ANI, Pramanik also claimed that the West Bengal Police is trying to mislead the incident like the previous RG Kar rape case, where a female doctor was raped and murder on August 9 in the RG Kar Hospital's seminar room.

"This is not the first incident by a TMC leader in the state. Everyone knows what atrocities are done to women in the TMC office and how Mamata Banerjee plays the role of a mute spectator.
