Jaipur, April 27 -- Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Sunday strongly condemned the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam and said that a befitting reply has to be given for this incident.

Speaking to the media, Pilot said, "This is not an ordinary incident. A befitting reply must be given for this incident. The way this incident has been carried out, the intentions of the terrorists are very clear. We have all said very clearly that the Indian government has to respond to this with its full strength."

Earlier in the day, former Army Chief and Mizoram Governor General VK Singh expressed deep grief over the Pahalgam terror attack and urged the public to remain vigilant to prevent such incidents in the future.
