New Delhi, July 16 -- The Union Cabinet on Wednesday adopted a resolution welcoming return of Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla from International Space Station and said it heralds a new chapter in India's space programme and gives a golden glimpse of the country's future space programme.
The resolution, which was read by Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during a cabinet briefing, said that this successful mission significantly elevates India's global standing in space exploration.
