Bareilly, Jan. 27 -- Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Desh Deepak Singh on Tuesday rejected the allegations made by former Bareilly City Magistrate Alankar Agnihotri, who resigned from his post recently.
He called his claims baseless and clarified that there was no hostage situation, only a cordial meeting for discussion.
Speaking to ANI, Singh said, "There was no hostage situation whatsoever. Basically, he (Alankar Agnihotri) went there himself to meet everyone. The three of us ADMs were there - the ADM Administration, our City ADM, and DM, everyone was there. He was even offered coffee. They had a good conversation over coffee...There was no question of him being held hostage or anything like that."
