Chennai, April 6 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader K. Annamalai on Sunday hit out at Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin for skipping Prime Minister Narendra Modi's official engagements in the state.
At Rameswaram, PM Modi inaugurated the new Pamban Bridge and launched other initiatives worth over Rs 8,000 crore.
In a post on X, Annamalai claimed that instead of attending PM Modi's event, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin cited a state government function as an excuse and went to Nilgiris for a holiday.
He further claimed that the people of Tamil Nadu would reject the DMK's "publicity-driven" politics and "negligent" attitude.
