Danapur, April 17 -- RJD MLA Ritlal Yadav surrendered before the Danapur Court in Bihar on Thursday and was remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.

This comes days after police conducted searches at 11 locations linked to him following a complaint alleging forgery, extortion, and death threats.

Speaking to the media before surrendering, the MLA claimed the allegations were false and alleged a larger conspiracy to eliminate him.
