New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- BJP MP Yogender Chandolia on Wednesday took a swipe at AAP leader Atishi's attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party over its delay in announcing the chief minister after Rekha Gupta was elected leader of the BJP legislative party at a meeting of newly-elected BJP MLAs.

"Rekha Gupta will be Delhi CM. Atishi has got an answer today," said BJP MP Yogender Chandolia while talking to ANI.

Rekha Gupta, a BJP MLA from Shalimar Bagh, has emerged as the party's choice to lead the government in Delhi.

Earlier, AAP leader Atishi questioned the BJP's delay in announcing the name of the Chief Minister, stating that it showed the party's lack of a credible leader to govern the national capital.
