Nashik, Jan. 12 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating the Atal Setu bridge and called the newly-inaugurated sea bridge an engineering marvel.

"This Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, the longest bridge sea bridge in the country is an engineering marvel," said the Deputy Chief Minister.

Speaking to a gathering at Nashik, the Deputy Chief Minister said, "I am really appreciative and happy that the Atal Setu has been inaugurated by honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister had also carried out the 'bhoomipoojan' ritual for the bridge and now he is inaugurating it."
