New Delhi, May 27 -- Congress MP Imran Masood on Tuesday firmly rejected any notion of dependency on the Samajwadi Party (SP) for seat-sharing in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2027, asserting that the Congress party is not a "beggar" that will ask for a seat from the SP.
Masood's statement was made in response to reports surrounding Congress's aim for a better seat-sharing deal with SP for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh polls.
