Mumbai, March 5 -- Amid the controversy over the suspension of Maharashtra SP MLA Abu Azmi for his remarks on Aurangzeb, BJP MLA Ram Kadam said that his words have hurt the sentiments of the people and an apology does not work.
"He has been suspended for the remaining part of the Assembly session. All MLAs are angered. There is a court order which states that no MLA can be suspended for more than one session of the Assembly. Keeping in view the sentiments of the people of Maharashtra, a committee has been formed to hold discussions on this court order and give stringent punishment to this Samajwadi Party leader," Kadam told ANI
