New Delhi, July 12 -- Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal on Saturday while addressing the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in Bihar said that it is "another way to get back NRC" and alleged that the government wants to impose "authoritarian" rule in the country.

Sibal further alleged a "partnership" between the Election Commission of India and the BJP, claiming that in Maharashtra, the votes were increased, whereas in Bihar, they will decrease.
