New Delhi, May 12 -- The International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman Jay Shah and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Rajiv Shukla expressed their thoughts on India's stalwart batter Virat Kohli's retirement from Test cricket.

Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday, marking an end to an illustrious 14-year-old career which saw him dominate a variety of conditions, regions, and opponents in whites, both as a batter and captain.
