New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra on Wednesday hailed the Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill, 2025, which seeks to remove PM, CMs, and ministers facing allegations of corruption or serious offences and have been detained for 30 consecutive days.

Speaking to ANI, Mishra termed it an "important bill".

"There is no attempt to divert. The opposition wants to divert the public's attention. The government is bringing an important bill in which those who have been in jail for more than 30 days will not be allowed to hold ministerial positions. There can be no work more important than this, but the opposition wants to obstruct Parliament... All the important bills, we are passing them and will continue to do so...," the BJP MP sa...
