New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Kapil Sibal on Monday asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah to address the murder of Tripura-based youth Angel Chakma in Uttarakhand's Dehradun.
The student, identified as Angel Chakma, was assaulted by a group of miscreants in Dehradun on December 9 and later died while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
In an X post, Sibal alleged "inaction" by the Centre and called the government "complicit" in the case. He also termed the assault and murder a "hate crime."
