New Delhi, July 24 -- The Congress party on Thursday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of "not giving a train to Bihar in the last 11 years," citing the same claim made by Janata Dal (United) MP Giridhari Yadav in the Lok Sabha.

On Wednesday, the JD(U) MP replied to Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in the Lok Sabha and said, "Bihar has played a very important role in bringing the NDA government. In 11 years, will the railway minister please tell whether he has started any train from Patna to Delhi, Patna to Bangalore or Delhi? No new train has been provided to Bihar by the railway minister."

Citing this, the Congress posted on X and said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always treated Bihar "unfairly."
