Hyderabad, Aug. 18 -- BRS Working President and former minister K T Rama Rao on Sunday accused the Congress government in Telangana of driving away significant industrial investments due to what he called its "administrative incompetence and corrupt governance", a PRO statement said.

In a scathing attack on the Congress party, KTR expressed anguish over the relocation of Kaynes Technology's Rs 2,800 crore semiconductor investment project from Telangana to Gujarat.

"The project, originally expected to generate 2,000 direct jobs for local youth, has now been shifted due to the Congress government's failure to retain investor confidence," he alleged.
