Mumbai, Aug. 20 -- Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Ram Kadam on Wednesday condemned the attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and stated that the police would investigate the motive behind the incident and take strict action against the accused as well as those who may have masterminded it.

Speaking to ANI, Kadam said, "We condemn the attack on the Delhi Chief Minister. What was the intention of the accused? Why did he attack the state CM, who is a woman, in the middle of a crowd? Who are the masterminds behind him? What is their modus operandi and reasons? The police will investigate and probe all these aspects."
